As someone who has worked in the newspaper market most of my adult life, I thought I knew what a newspaper was all about.
Then, I took a "communications" class. I was forced to ask questions like those listed below and found that there was a lot more to learn.

I am a writer and a teacher, by trade, so I decided to put together a web site that describes what goes into the "making of the news." I hope you enjoy these pages as much as I enjoyed building them!

 

WHAT IS NEWS?
It is defined as, "Information about recent events or happenings, especially as reported by newspapers, periodicals, radio, or television."
